Bihar Got New 89 KM Four Lane Route. 3 Districts Will Be in 1 Hour Reach.

• NH-110 Transformation to a Four-Lane Highway
• • 🛣️ Spanning around 89 km, the NH-110 connecting Arwal, Jehanabad, and Bihar Sharif is set for a major upgrade to a four-lane highway.
  • 🏘️ This project will significantly benefit the residents of Arwal, Jehanabad, and Nalanda districts by easing transportation and reducing travel time.
  • 📑 The proposal for this expansion was sent by the state government to the Central Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, and the tender process for the selection of the agency to prepare the Detailed Project Report (DPR) has begun.

• Two-Lane Paved Shoulder Construction on NH-2C
  • 🚧 Alongside NH-110, the old NH-2C (now NH-119), stretching about 51 km in Rohtas district, will undergo construction to add two lanes with paved shoulders.
  • 🌳 This development faces challenges due to the presence of a protected forest area beyond Akbarpur, leading to objections from the Forest Department on widening the road.

• Four-Lane Expansion of NH-120 and NH-99
  • 🌐 The NH-120, extending from Kujuapi to Panchanpur in Gaya district (around 14 km), will be upgraded to a four-lane road.
  • 🛣️ Similarly, NH-99, which connects Bihar with Jharkhand, will see a four-lane expansion from Dobhi to Gosaith, covering approximately 13 km.
  • 📅 Both these projects are expected to commence construction by the end of next year, with the Central Ministry already initiating the DPR process.

बिहार सरकार ने राज्य के विकास के लिए बड़ी सड़क परियोजनाओं की घोषणा की है। अरवल-जहानाबाद-बिहारशरीफ एनएच-110 को लगभग 89 किमी की लंबाई में फोरलेन में परिवर्तित किया जाएगा, जिससे आवागमन में सुधार होगा और अरवल, जहानाबाद और नालंदा जिलों के निवासियों को लाभ होगा। इसके अलावा, पुराने एनएच-2सी (नये एनएच-119) का लगभग 51 किमी लंबाई में रोहतास जिले में दो लेन पेव्ड शोल्डर के साथ निर्माण होगा। इसके साथ-साथ एनएच-120 और एनएच-99 को भी फोरलेन में बदला जाएगा, जिससे राज्य के आवागमन को और भी बढ़ावा मिलेगा। ये सभी परियोजनाएं अगले साल शुरू होने की संभावना हैं।
