Bihar Government Launches Chief Minister Fellowship Scheme for Enhanced Public Policy Training at IIM Bodh Gaya

The Bihar Chief Minister, Nitish Kumar, recently held a cabinet meeting where he announced an important new scheme for government employees. The scheme, called the Chief Minister Fellowship Scheme, will offer special training at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bodh Gaya.

Participants in the fellowship will receive an honorarium ranging from ₹80,000 to ₹1.5 lakh each month. The scheme aims to benefit 12 government employees from various offices, including the Chief Minister’s Office and other key departments. This initiative is expected to bring in fresh ideas and improve the implementation of state schemes.

The training at IIM Bodh Gaya will last for two years, and participants will receive certificates upon completion. The government sees this as a way to strengthen policy-making processes and add value to administrative work throughout the state.
