This article provides details about special train and bus services for travelers during the festive season in Bihar and Jharkhand.

The festive season is coming up, and the Railway has announced that it will run 12,000 trains to Bihar and Jharkhand. The Nitish government in Bihar is also getting ready by starting special bus services from five different states to various cities in Bihar.

To help passengers during this busy time, the Bihar State Road Transport Corporation (BSRTC) will launch a special bus service starting from September 20. These buses will operate daily to states like Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Haryana, and West Bengal, with online ticket booking available since September 1.

For those traveling from Delhi to Bihar, there will be 65 buses running daily. These buses will depart for cities like Patna, Muzaffarpur, and Purnia between 2 PM and 8 PM. There are also special arrangements for 30 buses going to Haryana, which will offer comfortable seating options for passengers.

The government has decided to provide a subsidy for passengers traveling in these buses. For example, the fare for an AC bus from Delhi to Patna will be ₹1,873, with passengers only needing to pay ₹1,254, as the government will cover the rest. Digital payment options will be available on all buses for convenience.

Bus services will be available at various times, including Kolkata to Patna buses at 6 PM, 7:30 PM, and 8:30 PM. The Delhi to Purnia route will have buses leaving at 11 AM. This initiative aims to support travelers during the festive season and ensure smooth journeys.
