The Bihar government has introduced a significant scheme to enhance tourism within the state. Under this new policy, financial assistance of up to 30 percent will be provided for the development of hotels, amusement parks, and other tourist facilities. This initiative is expected to attract new investments and improve the overall experience for visitors to Bihar.

Key Decision by Nitish Government

This financial support will be extended for constructing star-rated hotels, amusement parks, and essential tourist amenities in every district of the state. The move falls under the new tourism policy, aiming to encourage entrepreneurs to invest in Bihar’s tourism sector. Tourism Secretary Nilesh Ramchandra Devare stated that this scheme will benefit state entrepreneurs.

Tourism Secretary Held Review Meeting with Entrepreneurs

Recently, Tourism Secretary Nilesh Ramchandra Devare conducted an important meeting at the departmental office in the Chief Secretariat. The meeting included 21 entrepreneurs from various parts of the state. The Secretary individually reviewed their projects and discussed their current status. He urged entrepreneurs who had received first-phase approval to apply for financial sanction for the second phase.

Instructions to Banks to Ensure Timely Support

During the meeting, the Tourism Secretary assured entrepreneurs that if any bank delays loan disbursement, they should inform the department.
