- The dead body of a young man, identified as Ram Anoop Kumar (44), was found hanging in a hotel room in Laheriyaganj, Bihar.
- Ram Anoop Kumar was a sales executive at the Patna head office of telecom company Jio and a resident of Ashopur in Danapur police station area of Patna district.
- He was alone in the hotel room and made a video call to his wife before hanging himself.
- The police have handed over the body to the relatives after post-mortem and the deceased’s wife has given a written statement confirming that her husband committed suicide.
Wife said, it is not anyone’s fault
- The deceased’s wife, Soni Kumari, stated that there was no fault of anyone in her husband’s suicide.
- The reasons for the incident are unknown.

According to the wife, Ram Anoop Kumar had come to Madhubani with colleagues for company work and was staying in Gokul Raj Hotel.
After the incident the relatives left for Madhubani
- When the deceased’s younger daughter answered his video call, she saw her father hanging with a cloth noose around his neck.
- The daughter started screaming and informed her mother, who then alerted other family members.
- The relatives of the deceased left for Madhubani, and the police were informed about the incident.
- Ram Anoop Kumar was taken to Heart Hospital Mangrouni, where he was pronounced dead by the doctors.

Upon reaching the hospital, the friends of the deceased confirmed that Ram Anoop committed suicide by hanging himself in the hotel room.
