Bihar is making some exciting moves to change its image. On Friday, Tourism Minister Arun Shankar Prasad launched two new luxury caravan buses from the Sikh Heritage Bhawan in Patna. This step aims to enhance tourism in Bihar and shift the focus from political issues to travel opportunities.

The Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation has invested around Rs 2 crore 18 lakh in these caravan buses. Each bus can accommodate eight passengers and has four sleeper beds, making it a great option for families. This initiative is part of the government’s efforts to present a positive narrative about development in the state.

Tourists can book these caravan buses for Rs 75 per kilometer, with a minimum booking distance of 250 kilometers. An additional 5% GST will be applicable on the fare. Bookings can be made at the Sikh Heritage Bhawan office or by calling the provided mobile number.

These caravan buses come equipped with several amenities, including revolving chairs, a sofa, a bathroom, kitchen, and even a TV. For safety, they also have CCTV cameras and SOS buttons installed, ensuring a secure travel experience.

This initiative marks a significant step towards improving Bihar’s tourism sector. It will be interesting to see if this effort translates into real changes and helps give Bihar a fresh identity in the travel market.
