Two cases have already been decided by the tribunal, with the families of the deceased being awarded compensation of five lakh rupees each. One family is from Banka and the other is from Bihpur in Bhagalpur. The regions covered by the tribunal include Bhagalpur, Banka, Khagaria, Begusarai, Lakhisarai, Munger, Sheikhpura, and Jamui.
