Robbery of Kanwariyas in Bhagalpur
In Bhagalpur, a group of criminals robbed and assaulted Kanwariyas near Zero Mile Golambar. The incident occurred late Sunday night while the Kanwariyas were on their way with holy water from different ghats. The masked criminals, armed with weapons, attacked the Kanwariyas, looting them and damaging their vehicle.

Robbery at Midnight
According to reports, the criminals created chaos at Zero Mile Chowk in Bhagalpur late Sunday night. They targeted the Kanwariyas, threatening them with knives and weapons while wearing masks. The victims later informed the police about the incident, but the criminals managed to escape before the authorities arrived.

Statement from Thana In-charge
The Thana In-charge, Murli Dhar Sah, stated that the incident has been brought to their attention and it seems likely that the criminals involved might be intoxicated individuals seeking easy money. The police will investigate the matter if a formal complaint is lodged.

Devotees on their Way to Perform Rituals
On the third Monday of the holy month of Shravan, a large number of Kanwariyas embarked on a journey to offer water to Lord Shiva at Baba Dham Deoghar and Basukinath Dham. They also carried water from the Ganges at Barari Ghat in Bhagalpur and Sultan Ganj Uttarvahini Ganga. The devotees traveled from Bhagalpur to Sultan Ganj and Deoghar late into the night.
