Bihar Lok Sabha Elections
In the final phase of the Lok Sabha elections, voting is taking place on 8 seats in Bihar ★Nalanda, Patna Sahib, Patliputra, Ara, Buxar, Sasaram (SC), Karakat, and Jehanabad. Key candidates include RK Singh from Ara, Ravi Shankar Prasad from Patna Sahib, Ram Kripal Yadav and Misa Bharti from Patliputra, Kaushalendra Kumar from Nalanda, Upendra Kushwaha from Karakat, and Bhojpuri superstar Pawan Singh. A total of 134 candidates are contesting in this phase.
Lalu, Rabri, and Rohini Cast Their Votes
Lalu Prasad Yadav, along with Rabri Devi and daughter Rohini, cast their votes at a booth in Patna. Rabri Devi expressed confidence in the victory of the India Alliance and Rohini emphasized the importance of women empowerment. Rohini also claimed victory in the Saran Lok Sabha seat. Lalu Prasad avoided the media after casting his vote.
Tight Security Arrangements for Elections
Over 80,000 security personnel have been deployed in parliamentary constituencies in Bihar, including paramilitary forces and home guards. Armed security forces are stationed at all 16,634 polling booths. The turnout is expected to be high, with over 1.62 crore voters participating in this phase. The elections are witnessing direct contests between the NDA and Mahagathbandhan on all seats, with triangular battles in Karakat and Jehanabad.
पटना बिहार की 8 सीटों पर लोकसभा चुनाव के अंतिम चरण में मतदान हो रहा है। इस चरण में चुनावी स्थानों पर सुरक्षा व्यवस्था चुस्त है और उम्मीदवारों का भाग्य ईवीएम में बंद हो जाएगा। इसी दौरान राजद सुप्रीमो लालू प्रसाद यादव ने पटना में वोट डाला और इंडिया गठबंधन की बैठक में शामिल होने के लिए दिल्ली जा रहे हैं। चुनाव ड्यूटी में लगे असिस्टेंट प्रोफेसर की मौत और अरवल में भीषण गर्मी से कई जवानों की बीमारी की खबरें भी सामने आई हैं। अरवल में एक शिक्षक के खिलाफ अशोभनीय टिप्पणी को लेकर गंभीर आरोप भी उठाए गए हैं।
