A major accident was nearly a disaster in Rohtas district, Bihar, when a speeding truck hit a police patrol car. This incident took place late at night on the Nasriganj-Daudnagar Son Bridge Link Road, which is in the Nasriganj police station area.

The impact of the crash was quite severe, causing the police vehicle to overturn multiple times before crashing into the roadside divider. Inside the patrol car were a woman Sub-Inspector named Roopam Kumari, a driver identified as Ranjan Kumar, and a constable named Shyam Kumar.

After the collision, the three policemen were thrown onto the road and were unconscious for a while. Fortunately, they survived this dangerous accident, but they did suffer some injuries. Local people quickly stepped in to help and provided first aid to the injured officers.

Once the news reached them, the Nasriganj police team arrived promptly at the scene. The injured officers were taken to a nearby health center for treatment. Doctors reported that all three had only minor injuries and are now safe.

The truck driver fled the scene after the accident. Police have seized the truck and are actively searching for the driver. Locals have voiced concerns about the frequent high-speed driving of heavy vehicles on this road, which has previously led to many accidents.
