Senior leader and former minister Ashok Chaudhary of JDU, in a conversation with journalists, mentioned that in the last Lok Sabha elections, the party contested on as many seats as they won. He stated that the share of votes in the state’s vote bank is higher for them and the identity of their leaders is unique. There is no debate on these issues. There are no issues in coordination with components of NDA including BJP.
Seat Sharing Announcement
Regarding the coordination with the components of NDA, Ashok Chaudhary said that everything was, is, and will remain well in NDA. He mentioned that where there are alliances with BJP, announcements of seat sharing have not been made in places like Akali Dal, Maharashtra, or Odisha. This will be finalized in a day or two. Everything is in the final stage and will be completed on time.
Cabinet Expansion Soon
In response to questions about the expansion of the cabinet in the state, Ashok Chaudhary said that it is the special right of the Chief Minister to expand the cabinet whenever he wishes. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar returned from his foreign tour two days ago and with the completion of the Vidhan Parishad elections, the cabinet expansion will happen soon.
AIMIM Announcement
The party of Asaduddin Owaisi, AIMIM, has announced that it will contest elections on 11 Lok Sabha seats in Bihar. AIMIM will field candidates on seats like Kishanganj, Araria, Katihar, Purnia, and others. Akhtarul Iman, the state president and MLA of AIMIM, will be the candidate from Kishanganj seat. The party will field candidates on a total of 11 seats in the state.
जदयू के वरिष्ठ नेता और पूर्व मंत्री अशोक चौधरी ने पत्रकारों से बातचीत में कहा कि पिछले लोकसभा चुनाव में हमारी पार्टी जितनी सीटों पर लड़ी थी, हमलोग उतनी ही सीटों पर लड़ेंगे. उन्होंने सीट शेयरिंग के बारे में समय पर ज्वाइंट प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस कर सारी जानकारी दी जायेगी। इसके साथ ही असदुद्दीन ओवैसी ने अपनी पार्टी एआइएमआइएम के साथ बिहार की 11 लोकसभा सीटों पर चुनाव लड़ने का ऐलान किया है। वे बिहार की कई सीटों पर अपने प्रत्याशी उतारेंगे।
