Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) is expected to release the supplementary result of the teacher recruitment exam soon. After the first phase of teacher recruitment, there were 4700 vacant positions which were then handed over to BPSC. It is likely that the supplementary result of the first phase of teacher recruitment will be announced soon.
Preparations are underway to release the supplementary result before December 7th. A crucial meeting took place between the officials of the Education Department and BPSC on Thursday, where the vacant positions were handed over to BPSC. According to sources, BPSC is preparing to release the supplementary result from the second phase of the exam, which is expected to be announced before December 7th.
During the first phase of the recruitment process, 4700 positions were left vacant. Candidates who had cleared more than one level of the exam, such as primary and secondary or higher secondary, were eligible to contribute in schools of a particular level. Approximately 8 lakh candidates had appeared for the first phase of the exam, out of which the result of 1,20,336 candidates has been declared.
Candidates have been continuously demanding the release of the supplementary result. They even resorted to protests, following which BPSC Chairman Atul Prasad had mentioned about releasing the supplementary result on social media. On Wednesday, the candidates had gathered outside the BPSC office and staged a strong protest.
