A tragic road accident took place in Bihar on the Ara-Chhapra forelane, near Koilwar police station. An unknown vehicle collided with a pickup truck that was carrying laborers. The impact was so severe that the pickup overturned, leaving eight workers inside injured.

Eyewitnesses reported chaos on the road right after the accident. Local residents quickly helped rush the injured workers to the nearby Koilwar Primary Health Centre. After receiving initial treatment there, five of the workers were referred to Ara Sadar Hospital for further care, while the remaining three continued to be treated at Koilwar PHC.

The injured workers are from various villages in the Babura police station area. Some of them include Ratna Mahato, Bharat Ram, and others, all of whom were on their way to work from Babura to Koilwar.

Witnesses mentioned that the pickup was hit by a vehicle coming from the opposite direction as it approached a turn, causing it to flip over and injure the laborers inside. Local villagers pointed out that speeding vehicles are common on the Ara-Chhapra Fourlane, leading to frequent accidents due to the lack of strict traffic enforcement.

Currently, the police are investigating the incident to identify the unknown vehicle involved in the crash. This accident has raised concerns about road safety on the Fourlane, highlighting the need for better traffic regulations and enforcement to prevent future accidents.
