In Patna, a new agreement has been signed between Bihar Institute of Public Administration and Rural Development (BIPARD) and Indian Railway Finance Corporation (IRFC). This partnership focuses on creating job opportunities for the youth of Bihar, led by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

The IRFC will provide Rs 10 crore from its corporate social responsibility (CSR) fund to support this initiative. The aim is to offer skill training that meets global standards, especially for youth from underprivileged backgrounds in Bihar.

This training will include foreign languages and essential communication skills along with recognized courses like SAP ERP and CCNA Networking. These skills will help young people find jobs not just in India, but also abroad.

BIPARD Skill Park, located at Valmi Campus in Patna, offers various courses such as SAP Certification and Fashion Design. Since its opening, 585 candidates have enrolled, and 98 of them have already secured jobs after completing their training.

The Skill Park provides modern facilities like technology-enabled classrooms, free accommodation, food, and training kits. This partnership is expected to create a skilled workforce in Bihar, aligning with the state’s vision for a competitive talent pool by 2047.
