Celebrations were held in Hichchan Bigaha, in memory of Rao Ranvijay Singh, the father-in-law of Lalu Prasad Yadav’s son-in-law and his daughter Rohini Acharya. Rohini Acharya attended the event along with her husband Samresh Singh and brother-in-law Tej Pratap Yadav. When asked about contesting the elections from the Karakat constituency, Rohini initially declined to comment. However, when it was mentioned that if she became the MP from Karakat, the development of the area would progress rapidly, she responded by saying that she is currently listening to her parents and if the public wants, she will listen to them as well. She stated that she cannot receive a ticket if she is not among the people.
The people of Hichchan Bigaha village, the in-laws of Rohini, believe that if she becomes an MP, the development of their region will occur. After Rohini’s statement, speculations are being made about her potential candidacy in the upcoming elections. However, there has been no official statement from the Lalu family or the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) regarding this matter.
The event was attended by various political leaders, including Tej Pratap Yadav, the Minister of Environment, Forests, and Climate Change, Rohini Acharya, the daughter-in-law of Rao Ranvijay Singh, and her husband Samresh Singh. They paid tribute to the late Rao Ranvijay Singh by offering condolences at his statue. Rao Ranvijay Singh was an income tax officer and passed away on December 14, 2013. Since then, an event has been organized every year on December 14th in his memory. It is worth mentioning that Rohini, the second daughter of Lalu Prasad Yadav, got married to Samresh Singh, the son of Rao Ranvijay Singh, who was an income tax officer in Mumbai, on May 23, 2002. The wedding had received extensive attention and discussion.
