Bihar is set to develop four new industrial parks along the Varanasi-Kolkata Expressway, boosting employment and industry in the state.

Bihar is making big moves to boost its industry and create jobs. The state government is planning to set up four new industrial parks along the Varanasi-Kolkata Expressway. This initiative shows that Bihar is aiming to go beyond just agriculture and become a hub for industry and investment.

The proposed industrial parks will be located in Aurangabad, Gaya, Kaimur, and Rohtas districts. These areas have long been looking for industrial growth, and the government is now stepping in to help. The parks will be designed as export hubs, with around 19,000 acres of land set to be acquired for this purpose.

With the construction of the Varanasi-Kolkata Expressway, traveling from Bihar to Kolkata Port will be much quicker—taking only about six hours. This will make it easier for products made in these districts to reach other states and even go abroad, making the export process faster and more efficient.

Industries Minister Dilip Jaiswal has emphasized the importance of using nearby ports for better access to markets. The development of these industrial parks is expected to change the industrial landscape of Bihar, making it an attractive place for investors.

The expressway project connecting Varanasi to Aurangabad is in its final stages. Once open, it will significantly reduce travel time between Bihar and Delhi, as well as benefit those heading to Jharkhand and West Bengal. This development marks a step towards greater employment opportunities and overall progress in Bihar.
