A train accident in Bihar was narrowly avoided when a passenger train hit an agricultural tractor.


Today morning, a serious train accident was averted in Bhojpur district, Bihar. A passenger train was traveling from Ara to Sasaram when it collided with a rotavator tractor near Udavantnagar.

The incident occurred at the 5/22 kilometer post, creating panic among the passengers. Fortunately, the train did not derail, and no one was injured in the collision.

The train had left Ara station at 7:44 AM. About ten minutes later, the station master received a report that the train had hit an agricultural machine. Railway teams arrived at the scene and confirmed that the train’s engine had collided with the rotavator, which was attached to a tractor.

RPF Inspector Deepak Kumar mentioned that the tractor driver could not see the tracks due to heavy fog early in the morning. The driver fell off the tractor but escaped without injuries.

Earlier, there was an incident of stone-pelting and firing on the Seemanchal Express near Ara, causing chaos among passengers. Thankfully, this accident was avoided, ensuring safety for everyone on board.
