Heavy snowfall is occurring in the Kashmir Valley and Himachal Pradesh, with snow-laden winds blowing at a speed of 5 to 7 km per hour. This has worsened the cold wave situation. Currently, there is no possibility of improvement, and even when the sun comes out, it is not intense. The cold day conditions are likely to continue until late morning, and the frigid winds will persist.
