There is a high probability of heavy rainfall in several districts of Bihar on Sunday, with the risk of thunderstorms also being mentioned. The Patna Meteorological Center has predicted heavy rainfall in Araria, Kishanganj, Purnia, Madhepura, Nawada, Gaya, and Aurangabad on Sunday. The likelihood of thunderstorms has been forecasted in Muzaffarpur, Sitamarhi, Sheohar, Champaran, and other districts. Saturday evening may see heavy rainfall in Araria, Kishanganj, Purnia, Madhepura, Kaimur, Rohtas, and Buxar.

The Ganga region of West Bengal and the adjacent low-pressure area over Jharkhand have intensified the monsoon activity in Bihar. Heavy rainfall is expected in Bihar over the next week. IMD has warned of rising water levels in Bihar’s rivers. The disaster management department has also provided toll-free numbers for assistance during this period of heavy rainfall.
