Bihar Weather Update

The cyclonic storm “Remal” over the Bay of Bengal has weakened, reducing the likelihood of any significant impact on Bihar’s weather conditions. However, due to the partial effects of the storm, light rain is expected in some parts of northern and eastern Bihar on Tuesday. Wind speeds of up to 40 kilometers per hour may be experienced in these areas, leading to a slight decrease in temperatures.

Continued Heat Wave

After Tuesday, temperatures may rise again in the state over the next 48 hours, especially in areas like Nawada, Supaul, East Champaran, Katihar, Sheikhpura, West Champaran, Banka, Sitamarhi, and Bhagalpur where notable rainfall has been recorded. Despite the weakening of the cyclonic storm, most areas in Bihar experienced a decrease in temperatures with the highest temperature in Buxar reaching 43.2 degrees Celsius.

Possible Light Showers Today

In Muzaffarpur, the temperature difference between day and night has decreased, with the maximum temperature recorded at 35.2 degrees Celsius. There is a possibility of light showers in some parts of northern Bihar on Tuesday due to the mild effects of the storm. Despite this, the heatwave continues to affect daily life in Bihar, with people facing extreme temperatures and discomfort.

Hot Winds Amid Cloudy Skies

In Gaya, the scorching heat persists, with maximum temperatures reaching 38.2 degrees Celsius. Cloud cover may provide some relief, but the hot winds continue to trouble residents. Even with some cloud cover, the minimum temperature remained higher than usual, causing discomfort among the population.
