Bihar Weather Report: No Sign of Winter in Bihar
The effect of the winter solstice is not visible in Bihar as the fog is preventing sunlight from reaching the earth. There is a possibility of severe cold in Bihar until January 26th, accompanied by dense fog. However, there is a chance of sunlight during the day.
Extreme Cold in Bihar
According to IMD’s official information, cold days were observed in the southern, southwestern, southern-central, and more than half of northern Bihar, including Patna. The minimum temperature in all districts of the state was below 10 degrees Celsius, with some districts experiencing temperatures below 5 degrees Celsius.
Change in Weather Expected in Three Days
There is a possibility of significant changes in weather conditions from January 26th to 27th. This could result in heavy snowfall in the mountainous regions. IMD’s forecast predicts a slight decrease in average temperature due to the active western disturbance. However, the cold spell may continue.
Travel Troubles Due to Fog
Fog has once again caused difficulties for travelers, with premier trains running delayed by two to fifteen hours. Some trains, such as Malda Town-Farakka Express and Mahananda Express, have been canceled. Passengers have been waiting for trains throughout the night. Railway officials state that train services are being affected due to the foggy conditions.
