What’s inside:

This article discusses the current weather situation in Bihar, including temperature changes and future forecasts.

Weather in Bihar is changing a lot these days because of westerly winds. On Thursday, many places, including Patna, saw a drop in maximum temperature. Patna recorded 31.3 degrees Celsius, while Motihari was the warmest at 34.5 degrees Celsius. People are feeling a bit chilly in the mornings and evenings, but it’s nice and sunny during the day.

The Bihar Meteorological Service says that the temperature won’t change much in the next few days. The mornings and evenings will feel a bit cold, but afternoons will be pleasant with lots of sunshine. On Thursday morning, Patna had a light fog, and in areas like Purnia, visibility dropped to around one thousand meters, affecting traffic.

As November begins, a mild winter is settling in Bihar. It may not be very cold right now, but the pleasant mist, light breeze, and warm sun are making the season enjoyable. The Indian Meteorological Department mentions that the cold will remain normal for now, with minor drops in night temperatures but daytime weather will stay comfortable.

This November, day temperatures are expected to be between 22 to 28 degrees Celsius, while nights will be around 18 to 22 degrees Celsius. Light fog may create visibility issues for drivers in the mornings, so everyone needs to be careful. If the north-westerly winds pick up in the next 10 to 12 days, night temperatures might drop by 2 to 3 degrees.

The real cold is expected to hit Bihar in mid-December. The Meteorological Department warns that from mid-December to late January, temperatures may fall below 10 degrees at times, and some nights could see temperatures drop to around 5 degrees. While the weather is nice now, winter is just around the corner.

Summary:

  • Bihar’s weather is fluctuating with cooler temperatures.

  • Patna recorded 31.3°C and Motihari 34.5°C on Thursday.

  • No major temperature changes expected in the coming days.

  • Visibility may be limited in morning fogs, requiring caution.

  • Real winter conditions are expected from mid-December.
