Light to moderate rain expected in Bihar for the next 03 days
According to the Indian Metrological Department, Patna, there may be light to moderate rain at many places in the state for the next 03 days. An alert has been issued regarding this. According to the department, the monsoon trough line is effective from the low pressure area via Lucknow, Satna, Raipur to North East Bay of Bengal till Odisha and Andhra Pradesh.
Less chances of heavy rain
According to Ashish Kumar, senior meteorologist of Patna Meteorological Centre, the temperature has definitely dropped due to clouds. Due to this, people have also got relief from the humidity and heat. According to the Meteorological Center, there may be light to moderate rain at some places in the state for the next 03 days. However, no system is currently active for heavy rains. At the same time, during the next 24 hours, there is a possibility of thunder and lightning at some places in south-central, south-east parts including Patna.
Light rain expected in these districts today
In the last 24 hours, light to moderate rainfall was recorded in the areas of North Bihar. On the other hand, light rain may occur in Rohtas, Saran, Kaimur, Banka, Buxar, Munger, Vaishali, Jamui even today. Let us tell you that on Wednesday, the Meteorological Department has issued a warning regarding thunder and lightning in 12 districts of North East and South East. During this, light to moderate rainfall is expected in most parts of the state. Let us inform that during the last 24 hours, light to moderate rainfall was recorded at most places in North Bihar. Lalbegiaghat in East Champaran received 42.0 mm of rain, while capital Patna recorded 0.6 mm of rainfall.
