Light to moderate cloudy conditions likely in North Bihar districts

The maximum temperature in Muzaffarpur, Bihar remained at 33.2 degrees Celsius on Sunday, which was slightly above normal. The minimum temperature was recorded at 24 degrees Celsius, slightly below normal. The humidity levels were 98 percent in the morning and 75 percent in the afternoon. Dr. A Sattar, a meteorologist, predicts light to moderate clouds in the districts of North Bihar for the next four days.

Moderate rainfall likely at some places

In the coming days, there is a possibility of moderate rainfall in the Terai and plains districts. Following this, the rainfall activity is expected to decrease. The maximum temperature during this period will range between 32 to 34 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature will be between 24-26 degrees Celsius. The relative humidity will range from 75 to 85 percent in the morning and 55 to 65 percent in the afternoon.

Meteorologist Dr. Gulab Singh advises farmers to complete the sowing of pigeon pea in 80 acres of land by September 15. Pusa-9 and Sharad Prabhed varieties are recommended for sowing, along with the application of specific amounts of nitrogen, phosphorus, potash, sulfur, and Thiram medicine. Farmers are advised to monitor the pigeon pea crop sown in June-July for insect diseases.
