What’s inside:

This article talks about the current weather situation in Bihar, especially the ongoing monsoon and its effects.

The weather in Bihar remains quite active as the monsoon continues. In Patna, the capital city, there was a sudden change in the weather with light rain in the evening after a humid day. The Meteorological Department has also issued a rain alert for 19 districts in the state, predicting winds of up to 40 km per hour in these areas.

In the last 24 hours, rain has been reported in Patna, Kishanganj, Nalanda, and Buxar, bringing some relief from the daytime humidity. However, it’s unfortunate to note that a woman lost her life due to lightning in Vaishali district during this weather.

For the remaining 19 districts, the weather is expected to be normal. Light to moderate rain is also expected in Patna over the next couple of days. The maximum temperature in the city is predicted to be around 32°C, and the minimum will be about 26°C. Though the rain will help reduce humidity a bit, the increased moisture might still make it feel warm.

The monsoon usually starts to retreat by the end of September, but this year it is still active in Bihar. Meteorologists say that conditions for the monsoon to retreat are forming in various states, but due to the moisture and winds affecting Bihar, it is expected to remain active until October 1st.

As we move forward, residents can expect light to moderate rain in Patna over the next few days. While this will offer some relief from the heat, it’s essential to stay alert to weather updates, especially with winds and possible thunderstorms in the area.

Summary:

  • Monsoon is active in Bihar with rain alerts for 19 districts.

  • Light rain has provided some relief from humidity in Patna.

  • Weather conditions indicate possible rain for the next two days.

  • Monsoon is expected to remain active until October 1st.

  • Residents should stay updated on weather forecasts and alerts.
