Bihar’s Chief Minister Nitish Kumar recently opened the Maurya Mandapam and new public facilities in the Mauryalok area of Patna. This event took place on Monday and is part of the Patna Smart City project, which aims to improve urban living.

The renovation, which cost about Rs 15 crore, has transformed the campus into a lively hub for entertainment and business. It now features a large multipurpose hall, a rooftop banquet hall, state-of-the-art multiplex cinemas, a fine dining restaurant, and fitness centers for gym and yoga.

For the public, these new facilities will provide a much-needed space for social gatherings and leisure activities. The campus has also seen the development of Swami Vivekananda Park, adding more greenery and beauty to the area, making it a great spot for relaxation.

In addition to these facilities, the Chief Minister laid the foundation for over 1300 new schemes worth Rs 769 crore. This includes significant projects like a road improvement scheme and new waste transfer stations, aimed at enhancing the city’s infrastructure.
