Bihar’s Political Landscape Shifts as Tejashwi Yadav Named CM Face Amid Promises of Development and Job Creation

In Bihar, the political scene is heating up after Tejashwi Yadav was named as the Chief Ministerial face for the Grand Alliance. This decision has led to sharp criticism from Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, who claims that Lalu Yadav pressured Congress and VIPs to support his son’s candidacy. He expressed that the previous rule of Lalu and Rabri Devi only brought trouble like looting, theft, and corruption to Bihar.

Chaudhary strongly criticized the Grand Alliance for choosing what he called “the son of a thief” as their candidate. He pointed out how the promises being made, such as providing jobs to 2.7 crore people and spending Rs 12 billion, are unrealistic. His remarks highlight the skepticism surrounding the Grand Alliance’s plans for the state.

On the other hand, BJP MP Dr. Nishikant Dubey responded to the announcement by saying that the more Tejashwi Yadav’s face is seen, the stronger the NDA will become. He encouraged the public to compare the development of Bihar now with the “Jungle Raj” era from 1990 to 2005, suggesting that significant progress has been made since then.

Dubey shared personal experiences, mentioning that a journey from Bhagalpur to Purnia, which used to take six hours in the past, now only takes one and a half hours. He emphasized the current development in infrastructure, including new roads and railway lines that have been initiated recently, showing the positive changes in the state.

The ongoing political discussions indicate a significant battle ahead as Bihar approaches the elections. With various promises and criticisms being exchanged, the situation is dynamic and reflects the differing visions for the state’s future.
