Bihar’s Sheikhpura-Dainwan Railway Line to Enhance Connectivity, First Passenger Train Launching on September 29

A new passenger train service is about to begin on the Sheikhpura-Dainwan railway line in Bihar. The train is expected to start running from September 29, bringing much-awaited relief to commuters.

The new train, likely a Fast Demu Passenger, will leave Nawada at 5:15 am and reach Patna by 9:30 am. It will pass through Sheikhpura and Barbigha, making it convenient for daily travelers. In the return journey, the train will depart from Patna at 4:15 pm, reaching Nawada by 9:00 pm, making it easier for people to plan their day.

This new service will greatly benefit the residents of Nalanda and Sheikhpura. Previously, people from Sheikhpura had to travel to Lakhisarai or Kiul station to reach Patna, which was time-consuming and costly. The direct train service will save time and improve access to the capital, making travel much simpler.

Railway officials have already inspected the new railway line to ensure everything is ready for operation. They checked the quality and safety standards after completing the construction work.
