This article shares updates about the cold weather changes in Bihar due to snowfall in the mountains.

Winter is making a comeback in Bihar as fresh snowfall in the mountains influences the weather in the plains. Cold winds from the Himalayas are blowing through the state, leading to a noticeable drop in temperature. You might notice cloudy skies, light drizzle, and some areas covered in fog.

Weather experts say that due to a western disturbance, five districts including East and West Champaran may experience rain today. The clouds can make the day feel darker, and the cool breeze that comes with the rain could make the temperature even lower.

People in North and Central Bihar should prepare for colder nights in the coming days. There is also a dense fog warning for districts like West and East Champaran, Sitamarhi, and Patna. This fog can reduce visibility, which may cause traffic issues, especially in the mornings.

In the past 24 hours, the weather has been dry but temperatures have dropped. The lowest temperature was noted at 6.8 degrees in Samastipur. In Gaya, visibility was down to just 300 meters due to fog. Patna will also feel colder as clouds roll in.

This fresh snowfall has brought a chill back to Bihar, with shivering winds and foggy mornings expected to continue for the next few days. As the sun rises, it may help clear the fog, but it looks like winter is here to stay for a while longer.

Summary:

  • Cold weather is returning to Bihar due to mountain snowfall.

  • Several districts may experience rain and cloudy skies today.

  • Dense fog is expected in North and Central Bihar, affecting visibility.

  • Temperatures have dropped significantly, with low visibility reported.

  • Winter conditions will continue in the state for the upcoming days.
