Bihiya Cricket Academy (Blue) secured a victory by 33 runs in the final match of the Senior Division District Cricket League, organized under the Bhojpur District Cricket Association, against Avenger Cricket Club Green. The match took place at Maharaja College Ground.
Bihiya Cricket Academy Sets a Target of 165 Runs
Before the match began, Bihiya Cricket Academy’s team scored a total of 165 runs in 29 overs, with Hridayanand contributing the highest with 60 runs. Avenger Cricket Club struggled in their chase, with only a few players managing to reach double-digit scores.
Avenger Cricket Club Falls Short in Chase
Despite efforts from Ankit Kumar and Sachin Kumar, Avenger Cricket Club fell short in their chase, losing the match by 33 runs. Chandan Kumar top-scored for Avenger Cricket Club with 27 runs, but their team could not cross the 100-run mark.
Hridayanand Singh Named Man of the Match
After the victory, celebrations ensued as Hridayanand Singh was named the Man of the Match. The match was officiated by Abhishek Ranjan and Shashank Pandey from the district panel, with scoring done by Vikki. The final match was attended by various officials and spectators from different clubs and organizations in the district.
