In a bizarre incident in Jamui district of Bihar, a young man from the Malypur area has gotten married twice within a span of 20 days, with both marriages being love marriages. The police were surprised to hear about this strange case and were called when the first wife created a scene upon seeing the second wife at their home.
Unexpected Turn of Events
The 19-year-old Vinod Kumar had initially married a girl named Preeti Kumar after a makeshift wedding ceremony in Harla village. However, just 20 days later, he married another girl, Girija Kumari from Mosmiya village in Malypur, and brought her home as his second wife. This led to a chaotic situation with the first wife confronting the second wife and calling the police.
Conflicting Emotions and Lack of Police Action
While Vinod’s family seemed nonchalant about his multiple marriages, the first wife, Preeti, was furious upon discovering his second marriage. The second wife, Girija, claimed to have no objection to being married to a man who was already wed. However, the Malypur police have not taken any action in this case as neither party has filed a formal complaint.
