BJP releases list of candidates in Jharkhand
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will be contesting the elections on all 13 Lok Sabha seats in Jharkhand. The party has announced the names of candidates for all 13 seats through two lists. The first list was released on March 2 with 11 candidates, including 7 incumbents, while the second list was released on March 24 with all new faces. Changes were made between the two lists, with candidates like Sunil Soren from Dumka being replaced by Seeta Soren.

Among the BJP candidates, five sitting MPs had their names removed from the list. This included Jayant Sinha from Hazaribagh, Sudarshan Bhagat from Lohardaga, Sunil Kumar Singh from Chatra, PM Singh from Dhanbad, and Sunil Soren from Dumka. The party is also fielding a candidate from Giridih in alliance with AJSU Party.
Unique stories in Singhbhum, Rajmahal, and Dumka
In Singhbhum, Geeta Koda, who recently joined the BJP, has been given a ticket. In Rajmahal, Hemlal Murmu, who contested the last election, has been replaced by Tala Marandi. In Dumka, Seeta Soren will now contest instead of Sunil Soren, who also recently joined the BJP.
