Giriraj Singh calls for ban on public animal slaughter on Bakrid

Giriraj Singh highlighted the textile sector as the largest employment provider after agriculture. He mentioned that a plan has been put in place to further boost the textile sector, as it includes various components like cotton, yarn, textiles, hosiery, handloom, and handicrafts, making it a significant employment sector.

Planning for increased workforce in the textile sector

Giriraj Singh stated that the goal is to add 50 lakh additional workforce to the existing 4.5 crore workforce by the financial year 2024-25. Meetings with officials have been held to discuss and plan the strategies for enhancing the textile sector, which is one of the leading export departments in the country.
