Jagran correspondent, Saharsa: The body of Tarun Kumar, son of BJP Mandal President Mahavir Yadav, was found hanging in a lodge in Santnagar of Sadar police station in Saharsa. The incident has caused a sensation in the lodge. The BJP Mandal President has filed a police report alleging murder. The police are currently investigating the matter, which occurred on Wednesday evening.

According to BJP President Mahavir Yadav, his younger son Tarun Kumar was studying in the 11th grade and staying at Gautam Kumar’s lodge in Santnagar, Saharsa. On Wednesday, Tarun called his older brother Ashish to inform him that his mobile phone had been stolen. Later in the evening, a student named Pramod Kumar called and informed Ashish that Tarun was found hanging in the lodge. Ashish and Deenbandhu, the elder sons of the BJP Mandal President, quickly arrived at the scene, took Tarun down from the noose, and rushed him to a doctor, who declared him dead.

Mahavir Yadav stated that when he reached the lodge, the door of his son’s room and the lodge’s grill were open. There was also a mobile phone in the room that belonged to Nitish Kumar from Sahuriya East Panchayat. Nitish was present at the time of the incident but fled afterwards. The BJP President suspects Nitish of murder and has demanded that CCTV footage be examined.

The police have arrived at the scene and conducted a post-mortem examination of the body. The investigation is ongoing, and the police are scrutinizing the CCTV footage and trying to gather information about the stolen mobile phone. BJP leaders, led by District President Diwakar Singh, have demanded strict action in the case. The police station head, Sudhakar Kumar, has dispatched officers to the scene and assured that the matter will be exposed soon.
