Grand Event Organized by BJP for Launch of Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is organizing a grand event on Sunday to launch the Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana in three cities of Bihar and 1100 divisions. This scheme, targeting 30 lakh backward class families in the country, is being launched on the birth anniversary of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and therefore, the party has planned a large-scale program.
Leaders Responsible for Launching the Scheme
Union Ministers Giriraj Singh, Annapurna Devi, and Pashupati Kumar Paras, along with State President Samrat Chaudhary, BJP Legislative Party leader Vijay Sinha, and Leader of Opposition in the Legislative Council Hari Sahni, will be present at the launching ceremonies in Patna, Gaya, and Muzaffarpur respectively. Additionally, senior party leaders, state officials, and workers will be present at the events organized in different divisions.
Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana: A Boon for Backward Classes
The scheme aims to provide benefits to 30 lakh backward class families in the country. It includes 140 poor backward class castes and has scheduled programs at 17 places across the country. Under the scheme, a budget of Rs 13,000 crore has been allocated, with provisions for loans up to Rs 2 lakh at a nominal annual interest of only five percent. Beneficiaries will also receive training, marketing skills, and financial grants up to Rs 15,000, with the goal of supporting traditional artisans and craftsmen in enhancing their products and services.
Preparation for Serving the Pasmanda Community
The scheme also aims to provide benefits to the Muslim Pasmanda community, thereby promoting social justice and the resolve of Sabka Saath Sabka Vishwas. By connecting the Pasmanda community with the scheme, the Prime Minister is taking steps towards inclusive development.
