Arrest Made in BJP Worker Prince’s Murder Case
The Thana Police in Taunsa has arrested a suspect in connection with the murder of a BJP worker that occurred three months ago in the Majhwan area. The arrested suspect, Anil Kumar alias Bulchul, is a resident of Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. The information was provided by Bhojpur ASP Pramod Kumar Yadav on Saturday evening.
Suspect’s Criminal History
Anil Kumar, also known as Bulchul, has a history of criminal activities. He had previously been to jail for a murder case in Majhwan and was released on bail. However, he is now implicated in another crime related to the murder of Prince under a conspiracy due to personal enmity.
Details of the Murder
The murder of Prince Kumar took place on the morning of May 21, 2024, in a house in the Majhwan Bandh area of the Taunsa Thana region. The victim’s brother, Vishal Kumar, had filed a complaint regarding a land dispute in the Kudariyan village, leading to the primary investigation against four suspects.
Police Investigation and Arrest
The main accused in the murder case, Bulchul, has been taken into custody by the police. So far, Anil has been found guilty in the investigation. A team was formed to arrest the wanted suspect involved in the incident. Based on technical sources, under the leadership of Thana in-charge Devaraj Rai, the team conducted a raid in Varanasi and apprehended Anil Kumar alias Bulchul. The police had also gathered forensic evidence and CCTV footage to support their case.
