Body Found on Railway Platform in Raxaul
A body was found on a railway platform in Raxaul. This is the sixth body found in the past week. The body was discovered near platform number two. Railway police patrolling the platform noticed the body of an unidentified person lying on the ground and conducted an investigation.
Identity of Deceased Unknown
The GRP station in-charge, Pawan Kumar, mentioned that the identity of the deceased could not be ascertained. The person did not have a ticket or any identification papers in their possession. This has made it difficult to identify the deceased. The police are working on identifying the deceased.
Concerns Over Rising Number of Bodies
Due to the continuous discovery of bodies, there is fear among the locals. The body is being sent to Motihari for post-mortem. It is noteworthy that six bodies have been found in the past week. The frequent discovery of bodies has raised concerns among the residents, who attribute it to the extreme heatwave prevailing in the region.
