Discovery of Body in Nala
In the Khagaul Thana area of Patna, a young man’s body was found in a drain near Kumhartoli on Nimtalla Road. It was reported that a passerby saw the body in the drain and informed the Khagaul Thana about it. A large crowd gathered at the scene. Upon receiving the information, the police reached the spot and identified the body as that of Krishna Ram, son of Manohar Ram, who lived in a rented house near the Big Khagaul Mosque. The body has been sent to the Danapur Sub-District Hospital for post-mortem.

Krishna Ram used to work at the Mukul Hotel on Nimtalla Road. He had left work at the hotel around 7 pm on Wednesday. The hotel owner mentioned that Krishna had complained of not feeling well and was sent home early. Today, his body was found in the drain about 150 meters from the hotel. The Khagaul Thana in-charge, Sunil Kumar, stated that initially, it appears to be a case of heatstroke leading to death. The cause of death will be determined after the post-mortem report.
