Tejas Express Train: Booking for the Agartala-Anand Vihar Terminal Rajdhani Express has started, with the train set to run from January 15, 2024. Passengers quickly booked tickets in all classes of the Tejas Rajdhani as soon as reservations opened. The Tejas Rajdhani Express will operate from Agartala via Malda-Bhagalpur-Jamalpur-Kiul-Patna route starting from January 15, 2024.

Booking for the new Tejas Rajdhani began on September 17, with passengers able to book through railway reservation counters or e-tickets from 9 am. The train will make stops at 15 stations between Agartala and Anand Vihar Terminal, and only four stations between Bhagalpur and Anand Vihar Terminal. The Tejas Rajdhani Express will have 11 AC-3 coaches, three second AC coaches, and one first AC coach, totaling 18 coaches including a pantry car and two power cars. Depending on passenger demand, the number of coaches may increase.

The Agartala-Tejas Rajdhani Express will run every Monday, arriving at Bhagalpur-Jamalpur on Tuesday evening before reaching Anand Vihar Terminal. The return journey, Train No. 20502 Tejas Rajdhani, will depart from Anand Vihar Terminal on Wednesday evening and reach Jamalpur-Bhagalpur on Thursday evening for NJP, Guwahati, and Agartala.
