Deepawali, also known as Diwali, is celebrated with great enthusiasm in both India and Nepal. The relationship between the two countries has always been strong, like that of a brother and sister. They have always tried to strengthen the bond of brotherhood on every occasion, whether it is a festival or a time of crisis. In the midst of this, the soldiers of the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) and the Nepal Armed Police Force (APF) stationed at the India-Nepal border distributed sweets to each other on the occasion of Diwali. The soldiers of the SSB’s 47th Battalion stationed at Raxaul border distributed sweets to the Nepal APF. The security forces of both countries came together near pillar number 393 and shared sweets with each other. Lighting lamps and celebrating with joy, the security forces distributed happiness at the border and pillars.
