Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) Chairman Atul Prasad announced that the result for the second phase of the Bihar Teacher Recruitment Exam will be released soon. He stated that the result for TIER 2 will consist of 90 candidates. The entire result is being prepared and will be uploaded on the website starting from December 22. The results are being prepared in accordance with BPSC’s standards. Candidates can check their results on the commission’s website.

Atul Prasad also mentioned that the answer keys for several subjects are still pending and the result cannot be released without them. As the answer keys are finalized, the results will be released. He clarified that it is not possible to give a job to every candidate who passes the exam, as there are millions of vacancies for other exams. Therefore, the concept of “one job, one result” is not feasible.

Ravi Bhushan, the Special Secretary of BPSC, stated that the results for the Principal and 6th to 8th-grade teachers will be released in the first phase. The results for other subjects will be released periodically. Candidates can check their results on the commission’s website. After the release of the results for the first phase, several complaints were received. For example, some candidates claimed that despite scoring higher than the cutoff in the General category, they were not selected. Prasad clarified that candidates in the General category will be selected if they score at least 40% marks, which means they need to score 48 out of 120 marks in the exam. Therefore, if the cutoff is 39, a General category candidate with 43 marks will not be selected.
