What’s inside:

A businessman was robbed of Rs 14 lakh in broad daylight at Gandhi Chowk in Hariharnath OP area. The police are investigating the incident using CCTV footage.

In a shocking incident, a businessman named Subodh Kumar Singh was robbed of Rs 14 lakh in broad daylight at Gandhi Chowk in Hariharnath OP area on Tuesday. This happened while he was on his bike, heading to the registry market after withdrawing the money from the State Bank of India around 3:52 PM.

The robbery was carried out in a very trickster manner. Near Gandhi Chowk, one young man stopped Subodh, pretending that money was falling on the road. When Subodh got off his bike to collect the notes, another man appeared and claimed the money was his. This distraction allowed two other criminals on a Pulsar bike to grab the bag of cash from Subodh’s bike and escape quickly.

This incident created a huge stir in the market area. Police officials, including Additional Police Station Head Prince Raj and Sonpur SDPO Pritish Kumar, rushed to the scene after they received the news. They quickly started checking CCTV footage from the bank and nearby areas, which captured the whole incident and gave them valuable clues about the robbers.

Police have already identified the criminals using the CCTV footage and are actively conducting raids to catch them. The authorities are confident that they will soon arrest the suspects and take strict action against them as per the law.
