BSEB Makes Attendance Mandatory for 9th and 11th Annual Exams

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has made it mandatory to participate in the annual exams of the 9th and 11th classes. Only students who appear and pass these exams will be eligible for enrollment in the next class. The board clearly stated that students who are absent in the 11th class annual exam will not be allowed to enroll in the 12th class. Similarly, students who are absent in the 9th class annual exam will not be eligible for enrollment in the 10th class.

Responsibility Handed Over to District Education Officers

The responsibility of ensuring attendance and participation in the annual exams has been handed over to the District Education Officers. They will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring that all students are present for the exams. This move is aimed at improving attendance and performance in the annual exams, ultimately leading to better academic outcomes for the students.

Impact on Enrollment in Higher Classes

By making attendance mandatory for the 9th and 11th class annual exams, BSEB aims to increase the enrollment rate in higher classes. This policy is expected to encourage students to take their exams seriously and strive for better academic performance. It will also help in reducing drop-out rates and ensuring that students progress smoothly from one class to another.

Focus on Academic Excellence

The decision to make attendance mandatory for the annual exams reflects BSEB’s commitment to promoting academic excellence and ensuring that students are actively engaged in their studies. By emphasizing the importance of attending exams, the board aims to create a more disciplined and focused learning environment that will benefit students in the long run. This policy is expected to have a positive impact on the overall academic performance of students in Bihar.
