Theft in Professor Colony of Ward No. 23
On Friday night, thieves struck at the home of an Agriculture Department employee in Ward No. 23 of the Nagar Nigam area in Madhubani. According to reports, items worth Rs 1.25 lakh were stolen from the house. The residents of the house were asleep at the time of the incident.
Modus Operandi of the Thieves
The thieves entered the house through the back window while the residents were asleep and sprayed a sedative substance. They then stole mobile phones and laptops kept in the house. The residents only discovered the theft in the morning when they woke up to find their belongings scattered around the house.
Police Informed About the Incident
Upon discovering the theft, the residents immediately contacted the police helpline number 112 to report the incident. The police have initiated an investigation into the matter and are trying to track down the culprits responsible for the theft in Professor Colony.
