Bus Catches Fire in Kishanganj
In Kishanganj, a bus traveling from Siliguri to Purnia suddenly caught fire on Monday afternoon. There were around 20 passengers on board. As soon as the bus reached the Khagda overbridge, smoke started coming out of the gear box. Slowly, the fire started spreading in the bus. Passengers left their belongings and got off the bus.
Authorities Informed
The police and fire brigade were informed about the fire in the bus. The fire was brought under control, but by then the bus was completely burnt. The bus had reached Kishanganj bus stand from Siliguri in about 1 hour and 10 minutes. The bus was air-conditioned and was heading towards Purnia from Kishanganj bus stand.

किशनगंज में सोमवार दोपहर सिलीगुड़ी से पूर्णिया जा रही बस में अचानक आग लग गई। बस में करीब 20 यात्री सवार थे जिन्होंने अपना सामान छोड़कर बस से नीचे उतर लिया। पुलिस और फायर ब्रिगेड को सूचित कर आग पर काबू पाया गया, लेकिन बस पूरी तरह से खाक हो चुकी थी। बस करीब 1 बजकर 10 मिनट पर सिलीगुड़ी से किशनगंज बस स्टैंड पर पहुंची थी। यह हादसा देखने वालों की आँखों में गोला बन गया और फायर ब्रिगेड की मदद से आग पर काबू पाया गया। खबर लगातार अपडेट हो रही है।
