In Bihar’s Rohtas district, a bus filled with passengers suddenly caught fire. There were 32 passengers on board the bus. Upon seeing the fire, the passengers panicked. Instead of waiting for the bus to stop, they started breaking the windows and jumping out. Some passengers even climbed onto the burning bus’s roof without caring for their own safety to retrieve their belongings. The driver appealed to the passengers to remain calm. Within a few minutes, the driver took the bus to a nearby service center, where the fire was brought under control. However, all the belongings inside the bus were burnt to ashes.

According to local residents, the bus was traveling from Rajasthan to Sasaram. On Monday, near the Veda village, a short circuit caused the bus to catch fire. The flames intensified rapidly, causing the passengers to panic and jump out of the bus. The driver immediately took the bus to a service center. The driver mentioned that the cause of the fire is believed to be a short circuit. Fortunately, no passenger was harmed by the fire.

The driver, Deepak Choubey, stated that the bus was returning to Sasaram from Rajasthan. During the journey, a short circuit caused the bus to catch fire near Veda Sasaram. As soon as the fire broke out, I stopped the bus, but there were no means to extinguish the fire. Local people informed that there was a service center nearby with all the necessary equipment. I immediately took the bus to the service center with the help of the locals. With the assistance of the service center’s employees and the local people, the fire was brought under control. However, during this time, the passengers’ belongings were burnt to ashes.
