Approval of Important Proposals in Cabinet Meeting

After Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s approval, the cabinet meeting is scheduled to take place at 4:30 pm in the main secretariat office of the state. Several important proposals are expected to be approved in the meeting. Due to the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, government work has been on hold for almost three months, and the Bihar government has been unable to make any major decisions. With the removal of the Model Code of Conduct, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has called for a cabinet meeting to discuss and make big decisions.

Transfers of Officials in Various Departments

Several officials in various departments in Bihar have been transferred, with the biggest name being K.K. Pathak, who was on leave from the education department and is now responsible for the revenue and land reform department. Additionally, 6 more IAS officers, including two district magistrates, have been transferred. The General Administration Department issued a notification on Thursday evening regarding these transfers.

Additional Responsibilities for Officials

According to the notification, Dr. S. Siddharth will continue to hold additional responsibilities in the education department until further orders. IAS Ashutosh Kumar Verma has been appointed as the District Magistrate of Navada once again. Raj Kumar has been appointed as the District Magistrate of Bhojpur once again. Other officials have also been given additional responsibilities in various departments in Bihar.
