Mega block in Karwandia today, 3 pairs of trains cancelled, 3 trains diverted. The Mughalsarai Mandal of East Central Railway will take a power block at Karwandia Station from 9 am to 5 pm on Monday. One pair of trains will be cancelled due to the mega block, while 3 express trains will be diverted through different routes. The trains that will be cancelled today are 03359 and 03360 Bardakakan-Varanasi Memu Express Special, 03691 and 03692 Gaya-Dehri Onsone Memu Special, and 03693 and 03694 Dehri Onsone-Pan Deendayal Upadhyay Memu Special. Train Number 12802 New Delhi-Puri Express will run via Bhaya Chunar-Chopan-Gadwa Road-Barkakana-Muri, and Train Number 13305 and 13306 Dhanbad-Sasaram-Dhanbad Intercity Express will run up to Dehri Onsone.
Two passenger trains cancelled due to traffic power block. Sahibganj-Bhagalpur, Sahibganj-Karmatola, Ghoga and Ekchari passenger trains were cancelled due to the construction of a road overbridge between Road and Bhagalpur. The Dhuliyan passenger train was cancelled while the Rampurhat-Gaya passenger train was delayed for over 2 hours at Sahibganj Railway Station. The Azimganj-Bhagalpur passenger train was also delayed for 45 minutes. The Danapur-Sahibganj Special Intercity Express returned to Danapur from Bhagalpur, causing inconvenience to the passengers. Train operation resumed after the power block ended around 6 pm, providing relief to the passengers.
