CBSE 10th, 12th Result 2024 Date
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is soon going to release the results for Class 10th and 12th. Students who appeared for the CBSE board exams can check their results on the official website cbse.gov.in or results.cbse.nic.in. The Class 10 exams were conducted from February 15 to March 13, while the Class 12 exams were held between February 15 and April 2, 2024.
CBSE Exam Details
The CBSE Class 10th and 12th exams were held in a single shift from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm every day. This year, a total of 39 lakh students from 26 different countries appeared for the exams. In Delhi alone, 5.80 lakh students participated in the CBSE board exams at 877 exam centers. After the results are declared, students can directly check them on the official CBSE website through a provided link.
CBSE Merit List Decision
CBSE has decided to permanently discontinue the tradition of releasing merit lists for students who perform well in Class 10th and 12th exams. The aim of this decision is to reduce the prevalence of “unhealthy competition” among students. Last year, the CBSE board results for Class 10th and 12th were announced on May 12, 2023, with a pass percentage of 93.12% for Class 10th and 87.33% for Class 12th. Students can follow the steps provided on the CBSE website to check their results for the current academic year.
