Changes have been made to the pattern of board exams in Jharkhand, which are set to begin on February 16. This decision was taken during a board meeting of the Jharkhand Academic Council. As per the new pattern, the OMR sheet will no longer be included in the board exams. Only pen-paper-based exams will be conducted. The board exams in 2024 will consist of a written exam worth 50 marks, an objective exam worth 30 marks, and a practical exam worth 20 marks.
Single paper format for exams: After the board meeting, it was decided that students will receive a single question paper during the exams, which will include both objective and subjective questions. Students will have to provide answers to both types of questions in the same answer booklet. Additionally, there have been changes in the marking scheme for objective and subjective questions. These changes will be implemented from 2024. Further changes will be introduced from 2025, where objective questions will account for 20% of the marks, subjective questions will account for 60% of the marks, and practical and internal assessments will account for 20% of the marks.
Overall, the board exams in Jharkhand will see a change in pattern, with the OMR sheet being eliminated and a single paper format being introduced. The marking scheme for exams will also undergo modifications, with more weightage given to subjective questions. These changes will help streamline the examination process and provide a more comprehensive evaluation of students’ knowledge and skills.
झारखंड में बोर्ड परीक्षाओं के पैटर्न में बदलाव किया गया है। अब परीक्षाओं में ओएमआर शीट को शामिल नहीं किया जाएगा और केवल पेन-पेपर बेस्ड परीक्षा होगी। आगामी साल से बोर्ड परीक्षा में लिखित परीक्षा, ऑब्जेक्टिव परीक्षा और प्रैक्टिकल के आंक शामिल किए जाएंगे। परीक्षार्थियों को एक ही प्रश्नपत्र मिलेगा, जिसमें ऑब्जेक्टिव और सब्जेक्टिव सवाल होंगे और दोनों ही सवालों के जवाब एक ही उत्तर पुस्तिका में देने होंगे। साल 2024 से ये बदलाव लागू होंगे और साल 2025 से और बदलाव देखने को मिलेंगे। इसके तहत 2025 से ऑब्जेक्टिव सवाल 20 फीसदी, सब्जेक्टिव 60 फीसदी और पैक्ट्रिकल और इंटरनल असेसमेंट 20 फीसदी रहेगा।
